I see you guys have a F.E.A.R server but I never see it being put to any use. I play F.E.A.R regularly so I'm interested in playing with you guys just to see how many maps I can last with 0 deaths So how about we start a game tonight (or some other day)... with all of us? If not tonight, how about this weekend? I'm free Saturday and Sunday. Post your availability if interested.

I bought the BF2 expansion Armored Fury/Euro Forces. I think the Euro Forces is only half lame, but Armored Fury rocks and last night I played it for like 5 hour straight. It's only $9 at best buy. **It was a bitch to get it working... It took an hour and a half on the phone w/ EA because you have to link the expansion online w/ your BF2 reg number and they are clueless as to what to do if you never registered your BF2 and swear that you can't play BF2 online if you never registered it... welll I play online and never registered it... so I have to creat a new account, couldn't use the name I use in game, then had to go into this new account and change the name to …

I added a drive and migrated from Raid 0 to Raid 5 using 3 sata drives now. I like the performance of Raid 0 a lot plus the piece of mind of redundancy is great. Using xp64 too w/ 4gb ram. My temps have gone up a bit on my quad core but I did read that Raid 5 is a bit more demanding on the cpu than other raids. I will be adding a 4th drive probably next week since I have also read that going from a 3 drive raid 5 to a 4 drive raid 5 increases performance by about 25%.

Spent a few good lan sessions with it and so far everyone in our group agrees it sux. I was excited about it too. Its like a hodgepodge of much better games that does a poor job at all the games it tries to mimick. I'd take BF2 over this steamer any day.

  11. Just like XP, Vista needs some tweaking so here is a short list of stuff I would recommend: 1. Turn off Windows Search Indexing Windows Vista search indexing is constantly reviewing files on your system to make their contents available for quick searching. This is handy, but can severely impact system performance. To disable this constant indexing: Click Start then Computer Right Click the C: Drive On General Tab, Uncheck Index this drive for faster searching On the subsequent dialog box, Select Include subfolders and files 2. Turn off Windows Hibernation Windows hibernation background services can use a large amount of system resources. If …

I'm wondering... What do you all think about using one of our many spare computers laying around to host a Teamspeak or Ventrilo server for us to easily get up online for a frag session in between our monthly events... Just throwing it out there. And actually, now that I think about it, a friend of mine owns a computer consulting business and he has a public TS we could use if we wanted to.

Hello, I found this forum today on www.lanpartymap.com and let me say I'm happy to have found a LAN Party club/organization here in WNY. I'm originally from NYC and there are tons of LAN clubs over there. If anyone one here is planning to attend the upcoming gaming event on November 10 then you'd most likely see me there. Anywho, I'd like to know how many people here play F.E.A.R online? If there are any F.E.A.R regulars here then you might have heard of me - I go by the alias -CG- SwEEt_tOOtH of the Casual Gamers clan (http://www.casualgamers.com). We host a very popular CTF server called "-CG- House of Horrors". So let me know if there are any good FEA…

http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9799655-1...l?tag=cnetfd.mt Way back on September 12, we reported on rumors that Sony would be releasing a $400 40GB PS3/Spider-Man 3 Blu-ray bundle for the holidays. The not-so-secret new system has now been officially announced by Sony, with a November 2nd launch date in the North America. At the same time--effective immediately--the current 80GB model will be available in North America for $500. In Sony's press release, CEO Jack Tretton is quoted as saying, "We're pleased to offer the consumer a lower price point without sacrificing the core technology components that make PS3 the most advanced high-definition ent…
