Well, Intel announced the Pentium 4 Extreme with 2 Meg of L3 cache on the die (which means it keeps the 512k L2 it already had!!) Although I find it odd that it still uses a few transitors less than its replacement in the Prescott. Sounds like they are afraid of the Athlon 64!!! Read more here

Since Bob is in a new location, tapped into a different subnet, I guess we'll all need the new IP for the UT servers, etc.... And keep your eyes open for a PC version of Dead or Alive 3, the game is awesome, but appears to only be for the X-box so far....fitting though. Some of the girls costumes and moves make it appear to be a adults only game. I caught Jay trying to give the one girl fighter a dollar....LOL

I was talking to B.o.b. last night about it and it looks really cool. I wanted to play around with it and see what I could come up with but EA seems to be very protective of their crap. The only place to get it so far is the simcity site. I was wondering if anyone out there has it or can get it and send it to me. I'm still searching for it but if anyone can get it to me in the mean time that would be awesome. Dragon

Here it is folks, confirmation that there appears to be someone w/ some "common sense" working for Id & the Doom project. Remember when the game was slated to ONLY be Single Player per Mr. Carmack himself?? That has apparently changed now w/ this new tidbit of info JUST released concerning the "Multi-Player" aspect of Doom 3. Check out the LINK below for full details on this GREAT piece of news!!! http://www.gamespy.com/quakecon2003/doom3/ -- Nem
