Well I suggested that the forums needed a Case Mod Section and *BAM* they got one. Also out of no where I was selected to head it up... Oh well guess things could be worse, so here is my piss poor excuse. This system is changing (Looks a little different now, 1st attempt going on 2nd) also working on Beige to Black conversion system that I will be posting soon. BTW: I know I have to work on my wiring. Later! --- Intel® PRO/1000 MT Desktop Adapter

Wow! Just like I said it would be, the way GTA3 should have been. I've been playing since 4 and I find myself just riding around on the bikes. And it runs beautifully on my system. I was a little worried about my video card. But I've been seeing people running it with close to the min. requirements and they've all said it runs great on their machines. Its a lot smoother than GTA3, I think R* finally learned how to use Renderware. I got some cool screen shots that maybe I'll post later. Minimum Hardware 800 MHz Intel Pentium III or 800 MHz AMD Athlon or 1.2GHz Intel Celeron or 1.2 GHz AMD Duron processor 128 MB of RAM 8 speed CD / DVD drive 915 MB of free hard dis…

I'm fortunate enough to have an Intel PRO 1000 MT in both of my machines.... They should push (more advertising on) the amount of off-loading (stuff the CPU would normally do) that this card does, as I can't tell you what a HUGE difference it made in the game server I have, which just being an P3 850MHz needs all the help it can get!!! Futurewatch: Intel's new chipset, 875P, has a dedicated 2 gigabit pipe right off the north bridge (so the PCI bus, which max's out at 1 gigabit btw, can do other things)... Think of it as AGP for your NIC!! It will be interesting to see the performance of this new chip for networking tasks!!! (())

I caught this on one of the sites: Steve Polge - "We'll be announcing what's happening next with Unreal Tournament at E3. Don't worry, any new UT related products shipping in the next 18 months will be compatible with UT2003, and so will serve to extend the life of the platform your mod is built on rather than replacing it." Mark Rein - "If there were going to be a UT2004 it would be fully backward compatible with 2003 so mod makers wouldn't have to worry about that. But that's all I can say for now " Hmmmmmmm.....

Looks like Halflife 2 will be shown at E3, this ripped from: http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/26050 Although incredibly brief this is probably deserving of a full news item all by itself since it's the first direct correspondence from Valve Software on the topic. We just got this very brief statement from Valve Software: Half-Life 2 will be shown at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Plus 2 upcoming mag covers....

They finally released the source code for Duke3D and a bunch of people jumped all over the chance to port it to Linux, Windows 2k/XP and Mac. This is the best Windows port going: http://www.rancidmeat.com/project.php3?id=1 You'll need a current install of Duke3D to add this to.... (perhaps something for the next LAN party?!)

I have a question to pose to the almighty UT players. I have heard rumors where people actually rent bandwidth to have online games. What's the deal with this? Does anybody out there know how this works? This is on a NEED to know basis and I NEED to know

Now that I have gotten your attention, lets begin... I have played Dungeon Siege & have enjoyed it quite a bit, especially during multiplayer. Now I'm done with it & looking for something else. I keep hearing about this game called Neverwinter Nights, but have yet to play it. I would like to hear from all of you who have played it & let me know what this game is like & if it's worth my time. I'm not much of an RTS player ( but I was impressed w/ WarCraft3 ), but these types of games do tend to draw me in. So let the posts begin & enlighten me!!! -- Nem

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. They're not finished and open yet, but it looks AWSOME so far. They have like 45 or something computers already hooked up to their network and games already loaded, and they have space for people to bring their own computers, and XBOX people as well. And they have a room where you can hook your gear up to a WALL size projection system and 5.1 surround. I went over to the building and checked it out, and I'm excited about it all. Here's a link to their homepage and a link to some pictures in their forum: http://www.cyberjocks.com/ http://www.cyberjocks.com/msgboard/viewtop...c.php?p=835#835 They are actually BETA t…

For those looking to play on the server, its been mostly down the past few days. I will be updating it in the next day or so with the latest 2186 patch and DEBonus pack (hopefully a couple new cool boards in there) Any thoughts on style, dm, ctf, custom boards that you found that should be in the rotation? Oh, for the ip, just see what wnygamersclub.com (at a command prompt type: ping wnygamersclub.com) resolves to. Currently it is: 24.49.215.118
