NVIDIA Vista Drivers Update: Future Plans Unveiled "NVIDIA told me that they planning to start releasing a new version of their Forceware driver for Vista at least once every month. I say at least because Diercks said that if they find several game fixes or bugs that are substantial they may have intermittent releases as well to help appease the gaming masses. This move is very similar to the driver development cycle that ATI’s Catalyst drivers have been in for a couple of years now, with updates about once a month. Having this type of regular schedule should help NVIDIA users feel more at ease about their purchases knowing that a fixed time length is ahead of them…

I've been playing for the past 2 weeks off about every other evening, mainly focusing on getting badges/ribbons...Im upto a Staff Sergeant currently. It has become frustrating that I have not received some that have multiple requirements. I noticed that various stats sites will put a checkmark next to one of the fullfilled requirements, so you know you have that part and can work on getting the remainder. Well, what I didnt realize (until yesterday) is that you have to get some of them in a certain order...generally the opposite of the way listed on the page (bastards). For example, to get the Legion of Merit ribbon you need: IAR 50 teamscore points 200 global hours…

I have to say that I've been very upset with Sony in the way they've been handling the PS3 with it's obnoxious price-point & was only too happy to see this announcement... Sony considers a PS3 pricecut The best part is, I've been expecting this to happen, so I'm only to happy to hear about this. If Sony does "suck it up" & lowers their price on the PS3, then they'll be able to get back into the game. As it is, they aren't moving the units they thought they would & most of them are collecting dust @ Retailers while the other consoles are selling like crazy. Is Sony going to learn from this?? -- Nem

Battlefield 2142 Booster Pack: Northern Strike "Three new maps provide the setting for the Booster Pack. High up in the Alps the EU uses launch pods to launch an assault on a PAC Titan docking harbour on the map Port Bavaria. Bridge at Remagen, the scene for one of WWII’s major battles, is once again the setting for intense battles as both sides fight to secure the bridge. Finally, night has fallen when the EU launches their assault on the city in the Liberation of Leipzig."
