NASA's drunken astronaut report released "Interviews with both flight surgeons and astronauts identified some episodes of heavy use of alcohol by astronauts in the immediate preflight period, which has led to flight safety concerns. Alcohol is freely used in crew quarters. Two specific instances were described where astronauts had been so intoxicated prior to flight that flight surgeons and/or fellow astronauts raised concerns to local on-scene leadership regarding flight safety. However, the individuals were still permitted to fly."

Nintendo WII in a health club "I remember the time when my grandfather said: “you know my son, there will come a time when geeks will be the fittest people around!” OK, he didn’t say that, but wouldn’t it be cool if he did, because he would’ve been right. The Canadian health club Studeo 55 has incorporated a Nintendo WII workout station into their training equipment."

Hey there! This is my first post on this forum.....basically, I'm relatively new to Buffalo and was looking for people who are interested in your normal "board game nights" (taboo, pictionary, settlers, cranium, etc....possibly with good food and wine.) Is this mostly for heavy duty gamers or would anyone be interested in setting something like this up? I'm also interested in local museums, coffee shops/tea houses, arts and cultural events, and that sort of thing. Thanks in advance!

Cutting Through The Spin: The Shane Kim Interview GI: We know where ‘07 is—when someone comes into the store in September, they should be ready for Halo. Are we looking at an ‘08 with the Alan Wakes, the Too Humans, the Fable 2s? Kim: Let me put it this way: We haven’t announced any release dates for anything beyond 2007. But we wouldn’t be talking about those things if they were really distant in the future. I wouldn’t mention those in my part of the keynote. We wouldn’t be showing things like Halo Wars or Fable 2 behind closed doors. With Alan Wake and Too Human, we’re just going to make sure that they’re really ready when we show them again. But we wouldn’t be …
