Nemesis
Yup, I grabbed the update & it's pretty cool. These are all options I've been looking forward to for some time now. It adds more of a "User-Friendly" atmosphere to it, which is always a good thing. Here's more info on the update... New PS3 firmware adds custom backgrounds... plus improved menu navigation and several other neat tweaks The swirly background of the PS3 front-end menu is pretty slick, but it wouldn't it be nice to jazz it up with a picture of your own? That's exactly what the next firmware update will let you do. Firmware version 1.9, brings with it background customisation, moving avatars, Emoticons ( those smiley faces in text chat ) and a list of other tweaks and additions that further extend and streamline your PS3's already diverse functionality. You can always just click on the LINK to see the Official Info. Other good news on the horizon for PS3 owners, rumor has it that some uber cool demo's are going to hit the PS3 store tomorrow night. What demo's are those?? Heavenly Sword & Ratchet & clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Other possible players might be The Darkness & Metal Gear Solid 4. In terms of downloadable game Warez, look for Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD, which offers online battle mode. It would be very sweet to all of this happen!! -- Nem Firmware 1.9 released for PS3"Sony Computer Entertainment has made firmware 1.9 available for the PS3, bringing several usability enhancements to the console.
