Question of the week: I have an Abit NF7 (nForce 2 Ultra 400) with 2 sticks of DDR266 (PC2100) 512Meg CL2.5 RAM. Can I pop out my Athlon XP Palimino 2000+ and put in a Barton 2500+ (which runs on a FSB of 333) and have it work ok with the memory I have? For what its worth, my motherboard already is running in Dual DDR mode with the current RAM. Side note: this motherboard offered a significant performance boost over my old VIA 266A motherboard.

LOTR: Battle for Middle-Earth II preview "The team is now back working on a sequel, Battle for Middle-earth II, which will be built out with the full library of lore offered by Tolkien's novels now that publisher EA has secured the rights to the books to go with its movie license. In plain English, this means bigger fortresses, bigger battles, and more spectacular effects."

I have been playing Battlefield Vietnam most of tonight, awesome sound track and back ground sounds, added graphics with a lot of fog, server up soon. They did not seem to add as much to the graphic except a lot of vegetation and player rendering is better then I thought. Kind of reminds me of Ghost Recon with the playability of battlefield 1942 and lot faster action. You can stay alive alot longer and kill alot more if your good. “War good god what is it good for…”

Battlefield 1943 Announced DICE finally returns to the Second World War in their upcoming release. Taking gamers back to WWII yet again, 24 player multiplayer is assured over three tropic locations: Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima. Battlefield 2 Q&A on GameSpot "GS:We're told that Battlefield 2 will feature a conflict in a fictitious Middle Eastern country between US and Middle Eastern forces. Is there anything else that you can tell us about the setting? We imagine that there will be plenty of desert and urban-style battlefields, but are there any others you can tell us about? SD: Actually, the Middle East is only half the battle. Battlefield 2 will also ship with conflicts taking place in Manchuria, pitting the US against China. The battles here will take place in settings very far removed from the desert settings of the Middle East. The Chinese Army has the most modern weapons, some …
