Basically, the ATI 9500 PROs and higher support PS2.0 (also the new not quite out yet ATI cards), but the new nVidia 6800 Ultra does support PS3.0. PS3.0 supports branching in shaders (GOTO, etc) and there had been a lot of fluff around lately on what effect this will have on games, better image quality, faster running shaders, slowe running shaders, etc. Here is a link, where the developers of FarCry give ya some scoop-age.... Epic has released the list of changes for the first UT2004 patch. The patch will include a massive amount of bug fixes, of which some are related to the Linux and the Mac versions. Also idle admins won't be kicked anymore and some performance problems have been fixed. Onslaught related: - Teams will now swap sides after each Onslaught round by default. April's LAN Party Extravaganza Saturday April 24th starting at 3pm Desert Combat and Call of Duty were quite popular at Feb's party, so you expect a some of those, and also some Battlefield:Vietnam and UT2k4. Both of which just went Gold this past week! There are also some demos out there for FarCry and Painkiller which are fun. FarCry is supposed to have multiplayer also, so we'll see if that is out then. Doom3 is also a possibility, but I won't hold my breath... We lost a power adapter, similar to, but not exactly looking like this: It was over on the air hockey table which was behind Jay, Jerry and Kevin. It seems to have disappeared.
