I've been looking around considering shooters for LANs. Some of the newer ones have been hindered by a lack of LAN support. They end up requiring lots bandwidth to play at a lan due to players having to connect and play through outside servers. More than a handful of players and things can get problematic. So what are some shooters that people would like to see played or are interested in trying as a regular lan game ? For those of course who still have interest in shooters. One I tried recently was Breach ... Actually makes for a decent LAN game. Has lan support etc. Online play has a few issues due to bugs. So throw out some ideas, options, and level…

Hi all, I love playing games & a lot of great games have came out. Halo bf1942 etc. However it seems lately everything is a rehash of everything else. What would everybody like to see in a game or is their a game coming out soon that you think will truely be different & good at the same time? Interested in any & all opinions. Peace, Hef

sorry but we are running out of time to do a descent poll depending on how many days you want to run it for. I would suggest 4-5 days so i would get it up in the next 2-3 days so that way you can give people 5-7 days warning on what games r gonna be played so everyone can get the games installed and patched.

For those that might have wondered where I've been the past couple days. I went to the hospital Thursday night with SEVERE lower-rib cage area pain! They ruled out a heart problem and gave me some SWEEEET painkillers and a couple scripts and sent me home. Fri morning comes, now I'm unable to keep even water down (and still considerable pain), off to Dr and then back to the hospital. Spent most of the day there Friday getting tests done and got sent home later that nite, after confirming I could at least keep water down. They think they have narrowed it down, but won't know for least a couple days yet. Anyway, if you wondered where the fudge I was, thats the dilly....…

Not sure which forum to drop this in so will do it here: I havent shopped for switches in forever, but am debating a 12-24 port gigabit switch for the home network here. Any input on what to look for ? Whats some good priced models to look at ? Also on a price / performance comparison is it worth stringing a couple 8 gigabit switches vs. say a 16 or 24 ? Thanky.
