Nintendo Says No To Wii Or DS Price Cuts Since its launch in November 2006, Nintendo Wii has sold close to 24 million units worldwide and the price was left unchanged. Wii is selling for $250 in US and 25,000 yen in Japan. In the same period, Sony has cut the price of its PlayStation 3 by $200 in order to boost the sales. Also, Microsoft has slashed the price of Xbox 360 with $20 to $50 across various models. Iwata said for the Associated Press that the price cuts “could leave gamers who bought early feeling ripped off”. "I don't think that model is correct," he said. http://www.efluxmedia.com/news_Nintendo_Sa...Cuts_16885.html

Why The CPL Didn't Choose UT2004 "People wondering why we did not pick UT 2004. First realize that Epic is a huge supporter of CPL. The CEO Mark Rein is a friend of mine and Cliffy B is on our advisory board. A wide range of aspects were taken into consideration, including publisher/developer support for the entire tour. Unfortunately, Epic is transitioning to a new publisher and it was not expected that their current publisher would help us in marketing the game/tour through the end 2005. Additionally, there is a new UT in the works, but it was not going to be available in the time frame we needed. Mark and I are still in conversations about the 2006 World Tour…

I've been kicking around the idea of having a lan party in July at my place. Think is I probably won't be able to make room in the garage for it. So, I was thinking of doing a console party. I've got a GameCube and a PS2 and a 27" and 29" tv. And if someone has a Sexbox and tv they could bring, we'd have all 3 consoles to play on. I've got plenty on 2-4 games to play on the GC and PS2 and 4 controllers for both. I think it would be on Friday 22. I'd like to know who would be able to come. Probably start sometime in the afternoon(when I'm done with work). And we'll do the usual pizza and wings. Dragon

Florida Supreme Court: Man Must Pay Child Support For Kid That Isn't His They said that Parker must continue to pay $1,200 a month in child support “We recognize that the former husband in this case may feel victimized,” “While some individuals are innocent victims of deceptive partners, adults are aware of the high incidence of infidelity and only they, not the children, are able to act to ensure that the biological ties they may deem essential are present.” So, basically, the Florida Supreme Court is saying that this guy should have known better than to trust his wife.

Lots of games not enough spots to list all of them in the vote. I tried to mix it up and throw in some old ones for fun to start and to get you guys thinking on what you might like to play. Remember just about anything is up for grabs, as long as everyone can play together. Concerning mods and maps, mostly mods, we'd like to stick with mods that are widely excepted like Desert Combat for BF 1942. Maps we'll keep to the standard shipped with the games, unless its like a case of Doom3 where the maps are only really made for 4 people. Along the way we'll start throwing in new maps and stuff to keep it interesting so we'd like to avoid that stuff for now. If thi…
