So, I've just set up a hardware raid 0 array (my mobo has built in RAID) and freshly installed win7x64 on it. I was going to spend a few days re-downloading or restoring all my steam games and such. In the past, whenever I do a hard drive change, I've used XXClone to clone my old boot drive to the new one (it allows cloning to different size HDDs). Can I boot from my old hard drive with the RAID 0 array as a secondary drive, clone over to it, then remove old drive and be back in business? I've never tried a clone operation with a RAID array. The RAID is 2 samsung spinpoint 7200rpm 1tb drives. Old HD is a WD 500gb. Anybody done this, or have suggestions? A…

Western Digital ships the industry's first serial ATA (SATA) 3TB internal hard drive http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9191781/Western_Digital_ships_highest_capacity_SATA_hard_drive The WD Caviar Green 2.5TB and 3TB hard drives run at 5400 RPMs and are designed for use as secondary external storage systems and internal desktop drives in 64-bit systems, meaning the drives will not work with older operating systems like the still widely-used Windows XP. Newer operating systems, such as Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X do support 4K drive sectors. Linux-based systems require Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware to run the new drives. Mos…

Hey, I'm going to be opening up a video game store in Tonawanda, NY called Play N Trade. This store will have an eight computer LAN Center, in addition to seven additional TVs with XBOX360s and PS3s. The store is not open yet, but definitely will be opening around September. Everybody will be welcome to come and play at the store. In the meantime, if anybody has any suggestions or comments for the store and LAN Center I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

Steam has a demo. Random nation to 100 turns. Interesting game and a big departure from the previous. Looks like combat is more interesting, but harder to cities.
