As a fan of the L4D series, when word of this leaked out, I of course was intrigued... now that intrigue has now turned into "I GOTTA HAVE THIS GAME". If you've played L4D/L4D2, then U have an idea what this game is about... U & a band of survivors are trying to escape from hordes of undead who want to make U their next meal... but that's where the similarities end. The creators of this game took L4D as their inspiration & crafted their own beast that offers up something more. Co-Op still plays a huge role in this but now they've introduced a leveling system for your character... this helps flesh out just how U want to play the game with your character. Als…

The newest addition to EA's racing series is "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit" & this is simply an awesome game. It has been totally redone & has breathed new life into the Need for Speed series. I have it on my 360 & just love it, so experiencing it at a LAN party will be even better. EA partnered with Criterion, the company who made Burnout Paradise, so this game was bound to be a blast right from the start. Keep an eye out for this game to go on sale & scoop it up when it does, you'll be very happy that U did. -- Nem

I saw this movie on opening nite @ the Regal 3D IMAX on transit & it was awesome. I definitely recommend this movie, just make sure U stay for the scene after the credits. This is a very busy year for movies & there's still plenty more to see in the upcoming months. -- Nem

I got an ACer laptop for Christmas. I have been having a lot of trouble trying to get the wireless to work with a few distros. OpenSUSE 11.4, Sabayon, and a couple others. I am not an expert in Linuw to figure this out. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing.

I've been looking around considering shooters for LANs. Some of the newer ones have been hindered by a lack of LAN support. They end up requiring lots bandwidth to play at a lan due to players having to connect and play through outside servers. More than a handful of players and things can get problematic. So what are some shooters that people would like to see played or are interested in trying as a regular lan game ? For those of course who still have interest in shooters. One I tried recently was Breach ... Actually makes for a decent LAN game. Has lan support etc. Online play has a few issues due to bugs. So throw out some ideas, options, and level…
