Half-Life 2: Episode One stats At Valve, we're always striving to make our products better. We've traditionally relied on things like written feedback from players to help decide which improvements to focus on. More recently, Steam has allowed us to collect more information than was previously possible. Episode One, for example, includes a reporting mechanism which tells us details about how people are playing the game. We're sharing the data we collect because we think people will find it interesting, and because we expect to spot emergent problems earlier, and ultimately build better products and experiences as a result. I was cleaning my basement last night when something got stuck in the vacuum (cyclonic, 6 months old, $170). I shut it off, cleared the twine, turned it back on...and POW, there goes the fuse box. My computer has its own electrical zip code, but I plugged the vac into an outlet within it's realm and it popped. Im glad I purchased a good surge protector last year. Im sad to say the vac is in the garbage. I prolly could've RMA'd it, but I got paroxysmal on it against the basement wall for fukin wit my pc!! par·ox·ysm n : a sudden uncontrollable attack

SiN Episodes: Emergence - Past, Present and Future, Part 1 Has there been any specific feedback that you are going to incorporate into future Emergence patches or even episode 2? Have you gained any useful insights from statistics uploaded by players to Ritual? LEVELORD: Two issues come to mind for me. The LAN was winding down after 2am...by the time I dissembled, packed and migrated all my computer hardware into the vehicle it was almost 2:30am. I was tired as hell, was debating to go home now, leave all my crap in the car and go right to sleep. But I ended up hanging out with B.Ob., PurSuiT and Dragon for an additional 45 minutes while PurSuiT was packing up his computers. While driving home I got my second wind and decided that would unpack, setup and surf for a while...then crashed hard at 4:30am.
