We've been looking into getting a ranked server for BF2. Well we've already done the looking and pretty much found the provider we're going with. Question. Who would be interested in taking part in this? We're thinking no more than $5 a month(we still need to discuss). We'll make sure you always have a spot and a spot on the TS server, which won't be a prob with 50 slots. We would be running plain jane BF2 most of the time and probably make special days to run Special Forces and the other expansions. Can't think of anything else right now. I was thinking about the other clans on the net and I know there are not 100 players to choose from on the server but we could start 3 on 3 as one clan.We could practice with one commander per team so we would have a backup commander also. If there are 6 of us that can play on a certain night and a couple people that could fill in when some ones is missing we might be able to draw in another clan that doesn't have a server and could start playing them on a regular basis. It's just a thought but I think if we start small we can eventually be a larger team and when our 3 on 3 or more is going others will jump in and play also. It just might work!

I've been playing for the past 2 weeks off about every other evening, mainly focusing on getting badges/ribbons...Im upto a Staff Sergeant currently. It has become frustrating that I have not received some that have multiple requirements. I noticed that various stats sites will put a checkmark next to one of the fullfilled requirements, so you know you have that part and can work on getting the remainder. Well, what I didnt realize (until yesterday) is that you have to get some of them in a certain order...generally the opposite of the way listed on the page (bastards). For example, to get the Legion of Merit ribbon you need: IAR 50 teamscore points 200 global hours…

Epic Games have released the first Unreal Tournament 2004 patch, bringing the game up to version 3204. Notable features in this patch include an experimental Direct3D 9 renderer as well as a lack of CD-in-drive copy protection.
