Well I desided to load up Farcry 2 tonight and let me say... it is nothing like the first one. It is a good game to chk out but I was thinking it was going to be more like Crysis but with more of an open world or even like the first Farcry. I like the game but at the same time it just seems to scream console to me. Not sure!

Everything was working excellently as of an hour ago. I carefully disassembled, cleaned and gathered up as much of the original packaging/accessories as possible. FSB on motherboard was @ 296 (200 default) and CPU speed was 2.66GHz (1.8GHz default) running solid 24/7 with WCG @ 100%. Video card was overclocked moderately to 680/790 from 650/775. I didn't write down the memory timings, but they were pretty tight. Pricing is based on what I expect to get on eBay minus the WNYG discount :party-drinkers1: ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe 939 ATI CrossFire Radeon Xpress 3200 ATX AMD Motherboard - $90 AMD Opteron 165 Denmark 1.8GHz Socket 939 Dual-Core Processor - $60 …

Vroom! Was that an Obama billboard? Obama's mug can now be seen in nine different EA games connected to the internet, including Madden NFL 09 and Burnout Paradise, in an effort to appeal to the hard-to-reach 18 to 34 year-old male demographic. "What we're trying to do is offer ads in games where we're simulating a real-world environment, so our racing games, our sports games lend themselves to that," EA spokeswoman Holly Rockwood told the AP on Tuesday. "That's very appealing to our advertisers." http://www.networkworld.com/news/2008/1014...ul.html?hpg1=bn

John McCain battles YouTube The McCain camp's biggest complaint was that the copyright act does not favor the user of the material, but usually the copyright owner. If the video creator feels that their video has been pulled inappropriately, the act doesn’t give them any wiggle room in trying to get the video put back up before a period of ten to fourteen days. hahahahahahahahah The letter from the campaign could be considered quite ironic. McCain voted for the DMCA, and he opposes legislation to enforce network neutrality and now favors free speech on the Internet. How convenient. Originally, the DMCA was designed for all of the larger media companies. …

Yet another band is complaining about John McCain's use of their song to promote his campaign. This time, it's the Foo Fighters. "The saddest thing about this is that `My Hero' was written as a celebration of the common man and his extraordinary potential," the band said in a statement. "To have it appropriated without our knowledge and used in a manner that perverts the original sentiment of the lyric just tarnishes the song." The band noted it's not the first time McCain has been told to stop using a song. John Mellencamp, Heart and Jackson Browne have also complained — Browne even filed a lawsuit. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5ijiz8FL...jpxKEAD93MLV400

Google Goggles Help Curb Drunken E-mailing http://www.dailytech.com/Google+Goggles+He...rticle13148.htm "Sometimes I send messages I shouldn't send," Google Gmail engineer Jon Perlow said in a blog. “Like the time I told that girl I had a crush on her over text message. Or the time I sent that late night email to my ex-girlfriend that we should get back together. Gmail can't always prevent you from sending messages you might later regret, but today we're launching a new Labs feature I wrote called Mail Goggles which may help."
