Montreal's PureLAN 7 THG: What draws people to Pure LAN events? Vincent: "In my own opinion I think that Pure LAN offers good value for one's gaming dollar. Time tested formula, affordable price, generous giveaways and a nice venue go a long way in making people happy. Each year, LQJR holds a survey among its members, and the survey results helps us in making the right choices for the next event; it's probably the best way for a LAN organization to stay ahead of the game."

Xbox 360 availability surges "Microsoft today announced that beginning this week it will be shipping "two to three times" as many Xbox 360 units to stores as it has been recently. The increase in supply is attributed to manufacturing firm Celestica, Inc. joining existing partners Wistron Corp. and Flextronics Corp. In a recent interview, Microsoft's Steve Ballmer indicated that the system's widespread shortage was at least partially due to poor performance from an unnamed manufacturing partner."

Crysis Q&A - Graphics, DirectX, and Windows Vista GameSpot: Could you give us an update on the game's development? What parts of the game is the team working on now? Cevat Yerli: We are nearing alpha status, which means full feature and content completion on the entire project, with a solid pass on balancing. That is valid for the single-player and multiplayer experience. We are very excited. Crysis is shaping up as we imagined it. Stay tuned, it's almost there. Grab new video here!!

F.E.A.R. Sequels Confirmed "Monolith is developing the F.E.A.R. follow-ups for PC and next-generation consoles. The games are being created independently of VU Games, meaning the sequels will be true continuations of the franchise, but, because VU Games owns the "F.E.A.R." name, the next games will bear a different title."

NVIDIA Editors Day: Soundstorm "In an exclusive press briefing - the CEO of NVIDIA has just stated that we will see Soundstorm avaliable on nForce soon. This will be more than the old hat Soundstorm which was on nForce 1 and 2. NVIDIAs CEO was slightly cryptic about it being delivered, however, I think we can make an assumption that maybe the PCI-E bus has enough to deliver it as a standalone product. Here are those precious words: "We're gonna build SoundStorm 2, it's gonna be awesome," he later added to that with more information about how it will be delivered "It come in a way that you won't expect." NVIDIA chose not to do this with nForce 4 - but he for on…

Unreal Tournament 2007: New Details Revealed "To that end, Carbonfire is a functioning robot production facility. Conveyor belts move from one area to the next, and tracks on the ceiling carry droids throughout different stages in their construction. In one area you can see them being welded together, in another area an automated device electroplates and paints them, right on down the line to where they're placed in containers and move toward the loading dock. You can interact with the robots hanging from the tracks overhead, knocking them around like puppets as you fling rockets all over the factory."

UT3 In The August Issue of OXM "Aside from the gameplay shown in the video, it offered a few details about the game. It was said that the original idea was to make gigantic maps utilizing UE3's streaming technology for up to 64 players at once. They decided that it didn't feel like a UT game and went back to improving the original formula. Each map starts out as a basic BSP layout and is play tested until they think it is fun and then it is handed over to have static meshes and the rest of the artistic assets created. There will be 3 to 4 dozen multiplayer maps in the retail version of the game. The single player portion will have even more maps than multiplayer."

I decided I am going to send back the BIOSTAR TA690G AM2 AM2 AMD 690G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard for the MSI K9AG Neo2-Digital AM2 AMD 690G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard. I would probably be better off with the MSI anyways. Not sure why I didn't see it in the first place maybe they were out of stock for a little bit.
