Millions disconnected by NTT broadband outage "NTT East said 2.85 million customers lost Internet service at 6:44 p.m. (9:44 a.m. GMT) on Tuesday, the carrier said in a statement. The outage, the cause of which is still being investigated, lasted until 1:35 a.m. on Wednesday when the last of the affected customers was reconnected. The outage is one of the largest in years and took out both PC Internet connections and IP telephone service across 14 of the 17 prefectures in which NTT East provides service. Customers in Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures of Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama were not affected."

I have brought this HL2 mod up before.... MINERVA. I have played the first 2 episodes and have to say they are really good... http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/MINERVA ...and noticed a new episode had came out just before the orange box... I logged into steam today and BAM "During the Orange Box frenzy of the past couple weeks, it would have been easy to miss this great release: Minerva has a new installment, and it's the best one yet. Every owner of Half-Life 2 should download and play this single-player mod immediately. By the way, it's free." This is a mod that is worth checking out... ...Even Valve thinks so, which is a very big complement to the…

Mission: Best Buy "I sent out an email to my mailing list to recruit agents. I didn't want to give away the exact nature of the prank for fear of word spreading to Best Buy employees ahead of time. I had to be as vague as possible and still make sure everyone wore the correct clothing"

hey everyone! Henry invited me to post up so I figured I better Our next LAN is coming up in July and I'd love it if you guys could make it up. It's been some time since I've seen WNY Gamers represented so I thought I'd catch you up on a few things we do that's exciting and different (which you may or may not already know). We're a full blown charity event now. So, the more people we get the more we can benefit the less fortunate. All of our money that we give away stays in WNY. No faceless organizations! We're letting our attendees pick the charity for money raised this event We have no limit on the number of half table seats (formerly VIP …

Is WoW the Best MMORPG. I played EQ1 for about 2 1/2 years to this day I can't figure out why I played it so long. It was one of the worst gaming experiences I ever had. I played Guild Wars the first one for a little over a year got real bored with it stopped playing. Now I find myself wanting to get into the mmorpg world again. Is WoW still the best.

One of the hardest bosses in the game, we took him down yesterday after hours of getting to him. We had gotten him down to 3% health and wiped out. We took a 30 min break, bought potions and went back to him and took him down with only 2 deaths. (second time ever killed on our server) Now it's time to attempt bosses further in this instance, apparently theres the final boss which is suppose to be 2 times harder than onyxia if we ever get to him.
