AMD Athlon 64 FX-60: A Dual-Core farewell to Socket-939 "Our excitement over the Athlon 64 FX-60 isn’t really about its performance, although at 2.6GHz it is quite stellar, rather it is more of an excitement out of principle. We’ve favored and recommended dual core processors to power users as soon as they were available, even though dual core processors were generally far slower at single threaded applications than their equivalently priced single core alternatives. With the FX-60, at least at the high end, the same is no longer true."

Fatal1ty Loses Challenge at CES "He describes what he witnessed as one of the most evenly matched shooter show-downs he’s ever seen and called it a match of “beautiful intensity. Instead of the mayhem, carnage and ultra-fast kills of previous matches, the game turned into a thing of almost pure strategy. The showdown eventually came down to sudden death overtime and Nordic won."

NVIDIA and Dell Bring Quad SLI Power to Life "What you are looking at is a picture of a slide of the new flagship video card. I was able to get some quick technical information on the new card and the technology behind it from NVIDIA just a couple hours ago. First, you'll notice there are two physical PCBs on this one, dual slot video card. Each PCB sports a single 7800 GTX 512 GPU and 512 MB of GDDR3 memory. The cards are longer to support the added logic involved in these cards and to allow the cooling device to be bigger as well."

I kind of forgot about this gem until the other day when my friend was flipping through my game collection. I loaded it up again and aim to finish it this time. This game is a bear and you need a lot of time and patience and making sure you save... a lot, like before and after every little battle. I forgot that they fixed up the mp for the game and was thinking since we've been playing a little bit of rts games at the lan, if anyone would be interested in playing. You can go here for screenshots, video and demo. And its only $12.90 at GoGamer.com if you'd like to own a real copy . Dragon

The machine would run an operating system created by Google, not Microsoft's Windows, which is one reason it would be so cheap — perhaps as little as a couple of hundred dollars."
