But for those of you who are interested in the titled games and want to make platoons / lances to play online let me know. I'm currently rolling beta for both of these games and have high hopes for when they are finished and ready for prime time. So far Ive played a bit of Mechwarrior Online and its a great time so far. Even early in the beta with things out of whack even I'm enjoying it overall. Planetside 2 is probably a ways off, but conceptually it sounds awesome, and the early beta stuff i've done isnt too bad. In this system the engine will break networking traffic in a Level of Detail fashion not too different from what graphics cards do, with fall back positions of varying network fidelity as entities get farther away or occluded. The engine is also fairly threaded with many sub-systems like sound, bot A.I., MegaTexture and the rend…

We have had several successfull lan parties over the course of the past few years and would like to expand the parties so more people can join in on the fun. What we would like to do is have a membership. When we rent out halls/backrooms/etc we would have to charge to cover the costs. Members would obviously pay a reduced rate. Of course this doesn't mean we're not going to have those freebies!!!!!!! It's just that the cost is starting to hit us in the pocketbook. Think about it…
