TCL just announced a new 50-inch Ultra HD LED television for $1000. Holy wow, that is freaking cheap. Just a few months ago, we were blown away by Seiki's 50-inch 4K that cost $1500. How the hell are they making all of these beautiful, high-resolution panels so cheap? http://gizmodo.com/theres-officially-a-50-inch-4k-tv-thats-cheaper-than-908697519

"Activision and Infinity Ward decided to go back to the drawing board with multiplayer game modes and start entirely from scratch." Maybe they should just add easy PC LAN support back in "We took the list of game modes and we cut it away," executive producer Mark Rubin told Game Informer. "The idea was to go through and pull each one out and go, 'TDM [Team Deathmatch]... should we keep it? Well, let's talk about why we should keep it.'" http://www.shacknews.com/article/81343/why-call-of-duty-ghosts-discarded-old-multiplayer-modes

"In an odd turn of events, Windows 8 has been banned from HWBot, one of the world’s top benchmarking and overclocking communities. All existing benchmarks recorded by Windows 8 have been disqualified. This is due to a fault in Windows 8′s real-time clock (RTC), which all benchmarking tools use as a baseline." http://www.extremetech.com/computing/164209-windows-8-banned-by-worlds-top-benchmarking-and-overclocking-site "Windows 8′s RTC isn’t reliable. "The adventures of Van Helsing" & "PayDay 2" are two Steam games that have caught my eye & offer Co-Op play, so they'll be very entertaining at LAN Parties. Van Helsing is out now @ $14.99 while PayDay 2 will be out sometime in August. Val Helsing looks like an absolute blast to play from the videos I've seen. Thoughts? Who's getting what games(s)?
