And as much as live is tied into the 360 you probably wouldn't be able to hook it up to your network unless you blocked it from getting out to the internet.

Xbox 360 availability surges "Microsoft today announced that beginning this week it will be shipping "two to three times" as many Xbox 360 units to stores as it has been recently.
