September's LAN Party Extravaganza Saturday September 3rd starting at 2pm Its been a HOT summer.... Time for some more gaming goodness!! We picked up a new switch!! Lets just say its a managed 24-port all gigabit switch!! And has been relocated so EVERYONE will be hooked up thru this switch! If for any reason we fill that up, I have another 26-port managed switch connected via DUAL gigabit links!! On to the games.... Battlefield 2 will be played I'm sure!! Just ordered a Seagate SATA 120MB drive... Hoping that it will show some improvment over my WD 80MB SE Drive... Going from ATA100 to SATA150 should, we shall see. Anyone else already have a SATA drive and if so is it really better or is it all hype? Guess I will find out soon enuff!

Alien search merges with other home projects As of Dec 15, 2005, the original SETIatHome has shut down. Now you have to use the BOINC software to run SETI, and/or many other projects, like Climateprediction. I managed to stay in the top .1% of the original SETIatHome project.
