Hey, I'm going to be opening up a video game store in Tonawanda, NY called Play N Trade. This store will have an eight computer LAN Center, in addition to seven additional TVs with XBOX360s and PS3s. The store is not open yet, but definitely will be opening around September. Everybody will be welcome to come and play at the store. In the meantime, if anybody has any suggestions or comments for the store and LAN Center I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

Basically I bought this monster LCD to play on and my current hardware cant smoothly push the native rez for a lot of games. Soooo.... What would you folks recommend if I were to build a new system right now. Im currently doing some reading and newegg searching getting my ideas set. However Im a bit out of the current tech news and info so catch up can take a bit What do you guys consider hot and worthwhile. Lastly, Im more of a semi-budget wont buy newest biggest tech as I think the price is simply ridiculous vs. performance gains. So while Im looking at core 2 duo CPU's I probably wont touch the "extreme" versions as they seem just totally out of whack …

For those that have been interested, there is a new beginners Taoist Tai Chi class that just started that you can still get in on. See my sig below. It's over on Kenmore Ave by St. Joes. Mondays & Wednesdays from 6-7pm for 3 months. You will learn all 108 movements of the Taoist Tai Chi set taught by yours truly. I 1st began doing Taoist Tai Chi in 1996 (damn 14 years). Next week Monday will probably be the last day to join for this session as the class will then be too far ahead after that.

My brother in law pre-ordered it without even looking at the system requirements. He got it and realized his comp prob will spit at him if he tries to load it. Decided he'll grab it for his console instead. Asking is anyone would be interested in it ? Asking $40 - might be able to talk him into $35 ?

New video game awards show to debut in 2007 "Awards shows on television are kind of like Starbucks outlets: nobody will admit to liking them yet they continue to proliferate with no end in sight. In the latest example of the multiplication of the species, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Science has unveiled a new annual television show, a co-venture with Dick Clark Productions designed to showcase the year's best video games and the creative teams that made them possible. The somewhat awkwardly-titled event, "The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Presents: The Year in Games" is set to debut in the first quarter of 2007."
