Mysterious glitch renders PlayStation 3 units inoperable Beginning Sunday, many PlayStation 3 owners found the PlayStation Network inaccessible, with the system giving them an error explaining that they wouldn't be able to connect. This by itself isn't a huge deal, as all online systems crumble from time to time. The bigger problem is that this glitch seems to be effecting the ability to play offline, single-player games, with reports that games like Heavy Rain are no longer functional. Seems to have something to do with the system's internal clock, a detail that Sony seems to back up. "We’re aware that many of you are having difficulty connecting to the PlayStati…

The press always needs to get you frazzled. When I was growing up in the 80's I remember there being lots of hype on Global Cooling and how the north east should have winter snows year round by now. I can not believe how easy it is for ppl to have a complete turn around just cause the press tells you what to believe. Cover of the June issue of Time Magizne 1974 with a picture of Global Cooling http://www.charlotteconservative.com/wp-co.../11/cooling.jpg The achive article from that issue, Monday, Jun. 24, 1974 http://www.junkscience.com/mar06/Time_Anot..._June241974.pdf "When meteorologists take an average of temperatures around the globe they find tha…

Hey all. Basically Im getting ready to put a solid overclock on my e6600. Winter time temps dont look to be a problem but when summer heats things up it might be a little much for stock. Does anyone have suggestions on good air cooling I could buy thats not too harsh on the budget and just as importantly not too loud ? I could also consider water but dont have experience with it yet and im seeing it to be somewhat expensive by comparison. Any suggestions or input is appreciated as always. Thanks, Wayne

Yo. I going to pick up a PS2 this weekend(probably Sunday) and was wondering what you guys think some good games for it are. I've got Red Dead Revolver(and ATV 2 since it comes with the system) coming to me but I need some more games. I've been looking at a couple games like Splitter Cell, Metal Gear, etc... games that are meant for the console. I want to stay away from FPS, they're meant to be played on the PC as far as I'm concerned. Dragon

Google developing eavesdropping software ??? The idea is to use the existing PC microphone to listen to whatever is heard in the background, be it music, your phone going off or the TV turned down. The PC then identifies it, using fingerprinting, and then shows you relevant content, whether that's adverts or search results, or a chat room on the subject.
