Anyone know some good place/places to get switches from? I had my eye on this Asus GigaX1024P 26-port switch from NewEgg for $156 but is currently out of stock!! Hoping it comes back in stock by the end of this month thou!! My backup is this Netgear FS526T for $220. Positives for Asus: 8k mac table, no fan, port speed limiting, price. Basically what the above switches (sometimes referred to as Smart switches) are: 24-port 10/100 plus 2 1000 ports, with management software that allows for VLAN, port trunking, etc. I did a search in PriceWatch looking for the ASUS sw…

This is Falcon’s fastest ATI Crossfire based system put up against our own fastest SLI based system that PC Magazine had reviewed less than two months earlier. The testing was done under Windows Vista 32-bit. And yes, our ATI based system destroyed the Nvidia based system."

If only I had known sooner... Oh well I'm looking forward to coming to the events and gettin my frag on

But if you disable your sound card, are your 3dmark scores higher? That is all that really matters, lol. You posted a 3dmark06 score of 7000 something with your current rig with CF 1950's...I was getting over 9100 with my 1800s (default clocks).

3DMark Vantage RC0 screenshots released "These “screenshots” are captured by digital camera. It seems the RC0 version of 3Dmark is not stable, because it can’t even finish the benchmark and reporting errors. source said his testbed can not finish Graphic Test 2, and all the graphic test/CPU test/feature test can not be ran one right after another or it will crash. The application still have lots to improve. Just for your information, 3Dmark Vantage is a Vista/DirectX10-only benchmark program and scheduled to be released at GDC on Wednesday the 20th of February 2008. Source said there both release note and spec did not mention DirectX10.1."
