Pelican Air Flow Cooler for PlayStation 3 "Though the PlayStation 3 has apparently not suffered quite as few full on hardware deaths as the Xbox 360, the console is not without its heat issues. Particularly in Blu-ray playback, we've personally been greeted with the 'Your PlayStation 3 is too hot. Please shut down.' warning on many occasions. No one enjoys being jilted out of a movie or game while in progress, and while the Xbox 360 has a number of cooling solutions available, like Nyko's Intercooler 360 (review) and Pelican's Air Flo 360 (preview) and The Cooler (review), the PlayStation 3 has yet to be graced with a strap-on cooling solution."

Core 2 Duo vs Core 2 Quad "The following applications were not necessarily hand-picked because they show multi-core performance increases. We did try to round up some applications that took advantage of multiple cores, but please realize that dual-core and multi-threaded applications are still becoming popular. In the future we will likely see greater gains from more than two cores, but for now, well, it's the real world."

Corsair 2GB XMS-4400PRO DDR Memory Kit (quick specs) Corsair 2GB XMS-4400PRO DDR Memory Kit Pictorial Review! "Here's a closer look at the ridged surface of the XMS PRO heatspreaders. The ridged design increases the heatspreaders' surface area. Together with the increased height of the heatspreader, Corsair says the XMS PRO heatspreader has 95% more surface area than standard Corsair XMS heatspreaders. The greater surface area improves the heatspreader's thermal dissipation, which is useful if you are overclocking and/or overvolting."

We have received a few emails about having either a Source or 1.6 counter strike tournament at our October LAN. So I am putting it up to a vote as to the direction we want to go with this. Thx :bump:

Apparently, for those that either have Counter Strike: CZ, or those Halflife 2 coupons, you should be able to download the beta (one map) Counter Strike: Source (HL2 engine) today from Steam! If I had more time, I'd be tempted to pick up CS:CZ just to try out the beta Counter Strike!! Anyone try this?!
