On Tom's Hardware article on Networld+Interop 2004 Las Vegas Show Report - Wrap Up, from this page but it starts here! "ASUS also showed a wide line of switches including unmanaged, "smart" (VLAN, port control and QoS tagging) and fully-managed layer 2 and 3 switches in various combinations of 10/100 and 10/100/1000 port configurations. Its "smart" and managed models include quick-change fan modules, rack-mounting kits and dual-power capability. The mounting kit includes a simple, but robust post-and-hole feature that keeps switches from plummeting to the bottom of a rack if the mounting screws vibrate loose. On the low end of things, ASUS is trying to escape the fast…

S.T.A.L.K.E.R was released in stores this past Tuesday! S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl "When Chernobyl melted down, it spewed a cloud of radioactive dust all over Europe. A similarly menacing cloud hung over STALKER's development, and given all its troubles we're fortunate to have a game at all, let alone one this good. Its setting is superb, its gameplay tense and convincing, and it boasts what are definitely the best fill-your-pants moments in a PC game for quite some time. It's hard to see how it could have turned out better."

When a visiting team comes to Buffalo there are only 3 places they go to eat - Anchor Bar (famous for wings), Buffalo Chop House (famous for steak), Chef's (famous for sauce). I went out for lunch yesterday @ Chefs and some Sabres were there in the corner. Later on some russian Thrashers came in. It's kinda hard to miss a bunch of loud foreigners coming in, but the Sabres didnt say shyt to them. I went out for Dinner @ the Chop House last night and was seated next to some different Thrashers. 10 min later Hossa comes in an announces to the whole restaurant in broken english: "I'm looking for Bobby Holik, we are all NHL players." Damn Czec bastards yelling in 5 ***…

Samsung SyncMaster 915N: 8ms Response Times "Just to rehash - we don’t have a lot of faith in advertised response times. If there are significant response time differences, there is usually a hit in performance somewhere else, like luminance or contrast ratio. It becomes easy to fall prey to benchmarks that measure response times in only certain scenarios, which is why all of our reviews use comprehensive real world comparisons between all of our displays to set the playing field level."
