http://ava.ijji.com/? This game is pretty darn cool. It's a FREE FPS where you can level up to get betting gear or just pay them money to get the gear sooner. The graphics are great, hit detection is on point, plenty of servers and clan matches. Played it for about 2 hours today w/ my =SF= buddies and we did pretty darn good in the clan vs clan matches. it's ijji so the install is a bit odd, but that's to be expected w/ ijji. I recommend that everyone at least download it and try it out. it's free and a darn good FPS that can be played at lan events by everyone.

Damn, this one almost passed me by... (curses, so many new games....) http://www.supremecommander2.com http://www.supremecommander2.com/na/about/specs/ It's 10% off on steam right now if you pre-order!! (comes out 3/2/10) I might have to get, as I could see Mikey, Nemesis and a few others getting into some multiplayer action!

Hi everyone, I have an extra motherboard that I no longer need & I'm looking to sell, it's an AM2 LANPARTY UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G by DFI. It's a solid board, runs great & I've only had it for 3 months. All the components I had installed in it are gone now, which just leaves this beastie. The board normally sells @ $160, but I'm only looking for $100 or BEST OFFER. I have all the original packaging for it. Hit me up if interested, this is a great deal!! Here's the LINK for it. Be patient, the site may load slowly. -- Nem

AMD aims supercomputer at mobile gaming "The AMD Fusion Render Cloud will transform movie and gaming experiences through server-side rendering - which stores visually rich content in a compute cloud, compresses it, and streams it in real-time over a wireless or broadband connection to a variety of devices such as smart phones, set-top boxes and ultra-thin notebooks." "The Fusion Render Cloud will use AMD gear including the Phenom II processors, AMD 790 chipsets, and ATI Radeon HD 4870 graphics processors. It is being designed to break the petaflop processing barrie" http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-10138469-92.html

AMD Athlon 64 FX-60: A Dual-Core farewell to Socket-939 "Our excitement over the Athlon 64 FX-60 isn’t really about its performance, although at 2.6GHz it is quite stellar, rather it is more of an excitement out of principle. We’ve favored and recommended dual core processors to power users as soon as they were available, even though dual core processors were generally far slower at single threaded applications than their equivalently priced single core alternatives. With the FX-60, at least at the high end, the same is no longer true."

AMD surpasses Intel in U.S. retail stores "Intel agreed in March to recommendations issued by the Fair Trade Commission in Japan, which called on Intel to halt the practice of requiring PC makers to limit the use of competitors' chips in order to receive monetary rebates. In June, the Korea Fair Trade Commission requested documents relating to the marketing and rebate programs of an Intel foreign subsidiary. And in July, the European Commission raided Intel offices as part of an antitrust investigation."
