B.Ob.
Video Card Showdown: Radeon X800 vs. GeForce 6800 BBspot analyzed both Nvidia's and ATI's press releases and calculated the percentage of each release that was marketspeak, legalspeak, superlatives, non-quantitative flourishes or other bullshit language. Nemesis
Ati X800 In best Duke Nukem voice, "Who wants one?" Dragon I can't believe B.Ob. hasn't jumped all over this yet. Ccrrect me if I'm wrong BUT I believe the "coined" phrase for Mr. Nukem is, "Who wants some?" Other than that, I think ATi should send us their new toy since we like to play games on their hardware so much, I wouldn't complain one bit whatsoever -- Nem
Dragon
Yes it is "who wants some" but I though "who wants one" sounded better in reference to the card, as in one card. Dragon
B.Ob.
Well, here is the PRO for sale!!! ATI RADEON X800 PRO Video Card, 256MB DDR, 256-bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP -OEM Its a little high at $445.00, but probably will be til the XT:PE comes out, or nVidia starts getting their own new cards out! And probably more important: Reviews of this should be right around the corner!

Wargasm
Maybe they recalled it already. :rotfl: We shoud really send a proposal to ATI and get them to send us their new cards for free. If we could get them to agree, we'd have them before theyre in the stores  It should work, we're all computer professionals. right? :wwe:

Though I do recall mentioning something like that b4. Let's put together an ATi TaskForce. Since our group is growing, having a "sponsor" within our ranks will makes things all the better. All who are interested, let me know & we'll try to organize this beasty into something do-able. -- Nem
