Hey all, Lapres and XFCJ have found some cool games waiting to be greenlighted on Steam. I went to the site to make a donation so I can receive them now. The site is http://groupees.com/bagb2 and it it recommended to get "Mini Racers Street" and "Darkspot". The racing one is like the Micro Machines game from way back and the Darkspot is like Terraria meets Silent Hill! That is all, now go get the game(s)! The proceeds go to help a sick kid! and these look like they could be good LAN party games! (as the mini racers one supports 12 in MP!)

HOW TO - Posted and Pinned in this thread To be posted and pinned in this thread please post your event and all details in the "When & Where is the NEXT LAN Party?!?!" Thread. Once this has been done, please PM myself or one of the other admins asking to have your LAN Party moved to the "LAN Party Spectaculars" Section. From there we will determine if your LAN belongs in this section (mainly by the size and location of the LAN). If the staff feels that it fits in this section it will move and pinned. Thanks WNYG Staff

Howdy, 31 yr old Buffalo gamer here. I was on the r/Buffalo subreddit and noticed a jump in interest for a “WNY Gaming Club”. After some quick searching, I found this. But it seems there’s been no activity since November of last year. I’d love to connect with the owner of this forum, and see how we can restart this group? Maybe revamp the community to provide a space for the new wave of gamers as well. thanks!

https://qwen.ai/blog?from=research.latest-advancements-list&id=4074cca80393150c248e508aa62983f9cb7d27cd& We believe that Context Length Scaling and Total Parameter Scaling are two major trends in the future of large models. To further improve training and inference efficiency under long-context and large-parameter settings, we design a brand-new model architecture called Qwen3-Next.Compared to the MoE structure of Qwen3, Qwen3-Next introduces several key improvements: a hybrid attention mechanism, a highly sparse Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) structure, training-stability-friendly optimizations, and a multi-token prediction mechanism for faster inference. …

https://ebay.us/m/pIJQTs Looked at the datasheet, apparently 4w idle an up to 11w under max load. 1dwpd is some skid endurance though, might make for a nice ZFS array.

https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2025/10/01/xbox-game-pass-ultimate-premium-essential-plans/ "Starting today, we’re introducing three upgraded Game Pass plans based on how players play: Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. https://www.ign.com/articles/battlefield-6-global-release-times-confirmed "EA has confirmed the global release times for Battlefield 6. EA's first-person shooter has an October 10 release date, with pre-loads available now across all platforms except the Epic Games Store." Been a good while since I played last. Participated in the second open beta weekend and it was a blast. Anyone pi king this up or waiting for the inevitable deep discounts next year? 😅
