Anyone happen to see Valkyrie, if so what did you think. I was actually surprised that it was a fair representation of what happened. It also has to be the best movie since Risky Business that Tom Cruz has done; most of his stuff is crap in my opinion. The dude that played Hitler rocked, acted just as I think he would.

Max Payne isn't hurt by terrible reviews "Videogame adaptation Max Payne shot down all-comers at the US box office at the weekend, taking a respectable $18m on debut to open in the top spot." http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2008/oct/20...ayne-box-office I was completely surprised by how good this movie was, after reading all the bad reviews I was thinking it would be complete shit. Could have ramped up more action towards the end, but other then that it was a pretty good adaptation of the first game. Just makes me think that ppl that review movies for a living are full of crap and do not know the smell of thier own asses in a crowd.

Best Buy offers HD DVD owners $10 million in gift cards, trade in, shoulder to cry on. "The beauty of this offer is that it doesn't require our customers to give up their HD-DVD player," said Barry Judge, chief marketing officer for Best Buy. "We know that many people who purchased these players have HD-DVD movies that they would like to continue to watch. We're telling our customers they can keep their players to play these movies as well as their older DVDs and use the $50 to treat themselves to anything else in our stores."

Photoshop to get GPU and physics acceleration "GPU acceleration is one of the most significant trends in today hardware industry, opening the doors to an entirely class of software running desktop. What will be possible is fascinating to see on a monitor, nut it is not tangible, if you just hear about it. It appears that the next Photoshop will be one of the first mainstream applications that will tap into the GPU for a speed up. And, at least from what we have seen during a first demonstration, the progress is simply stunning."
