Well I desided to load up Farcry 2 tonight and let me say... it is nothing like the first one. It is a good game to chk out but I was thinking it was going to be more like Crysis but with more of an open world or even like the first Farcry. I like the game but at the same time it just seems to scream console to me. Not sure!

Basically, the ATI 9500 PROs and higher support PS2.0 (also the new not quite out yet ATI cards), but the new nVidia 6800 Ultra does support PS3.0. PS3.0 supports branching in shaders (GOTO, etc) and there had been a lot of fluff around lately on what effect this will have on games, better image quality, faster running shaders, slowe running shaders, etc. Here is a link, where the developers of FarCry give ya some scoop-age....
