On a side note, a good 3dmark score is great to have to sit around here and brag about but you don't play 3dmark all day long do you? Dragon Absolutely the 9800 PRO will be starved for info... 3DMark2001 is a good no-shader benchmark, kinda representative of the older games. 3DMark2003 just seems to be a pile of political junk!! but running the ut2k3 demo benchmark ParoxysM posted here would be interesting to see. Then he can run it again when it gets the new CPU!! THIS will give you an idea, on many cards, the difference between an Athlon 1000 and a 2700+ in UT2k3. And if that following page is true.... my GF3-Ti200 isn't performing much different in UT2k3 than when I had my P3-850.... Guess I'll have to get a 128Meg 9800 PRO like Nemesis!! icunvnme, BTW, looks like you can expect a 3DMark2001SE score in the neighborhood of 9000 while still having the card ride on your Athlon 1000. Your card & mine are the same except that U have 128mb more ram, clock speeds still are identical. You should score 17,000+ ParoxysM, U have to remember who it is that U are speaking to, this guy gets lost looking for keys in his pocket What U need to do is post the "step by step" process of how to get benchmark scores for him in UT2k3. Does he need the game running? Is this just a file he downloads, installs in a certain location & then runs? And that score will nearly double with a CPU of above 2500+. Not sure I can change the name, you might have/want to re-register under that name.... I'll have to ask bobsbrat.
