Conan4Life Posted August 4, 2004 Share Posted August 4, 2004 are there any places to get inft to update chips on a videocard, for example its BIOS or support for newer technology like ps 3 just a thought, did some searching way back didnt come up with much but it goes with the idea of just update to newest tech insted of buying a whole new card umm that idea could hit the why they dont do that would befuddle their profits... The only firmware updates I've ever seen for vid cards were to make them run a bit faster (enabling the whole chip), like flashing a 9800 SE to a PRO, or a 9800 PRO to a XT. Guru3D If you do a little siffing around you should be able to find something you can do to your card. Probably just oc it though.
