Wargasm
Here's what you need for monster cooling....a jet engine for the cpu ACB-V83 Jet 7 Socket 370 Cooler of course, I picture 3 of these mounted on the back like a Veritech fighter. B.Ob.
That fan is certainly cool, even without the LED, but I think I'd still prefer a Thermalright SLK-947-U, even if it is $40 without a fan.... if you want a cool & quiet system. I have to agree w/ B.Ob., (did I just admit that I'm agreeing w/ HIM!!! ) that the Jet heatsink/fan thing is cool BUT I would rather the sleek design & quietness of the ThermalRight. -- Nem I still can't believe that I actually agreed w/ B.Ob.!!! Next thing U'll know, I'll think that Wargasm is NEVER wrong & KNOWS everything You already knopw that Nem. I know everything, I just cant type... I believe that fan is loud, butit does look cool. I wish it had a better cfm rating, only 22.1 cfm - or the ability to change the fan. That screamer fan I have is 35cfm, and fits even a socket7 heatsinc.....a bigger one. That is a lot of airflow. I've plugged it in and put it next to any other CPU fan, and you hear the other fan speed up.It is loud for a little fan, hence the name 'Screamer'

Fortunately it has a pot to dial the speed down, as it is truely irritating at top speed!!! I definately want to go with that Thermalright heatsink I mentioned before with a quiet, slower fan like the Silencer from PC Power & Cooling. *EDIT* Opps, I forgot Nemesis uses them also! Nemesis
B.Ob., U forgot to mention that "I" also USE that fan. I love the speed control on it, makes for a much queiter experience. -- Nem

Nemesis
I always "count", sometimes in more ways that others I really haven't found a need to "overclock" yet, my rig runs as fast as it can & I'm happy w/ that. Now, when I get new stuff next year, then "maybe" I'll begin to look into overclocking this & that, which will probably make Father OC very happy!! -- Nem
