Conan4Life Posted September 20, 2004 Share Posted September 20, 2004 one for you ATI guys any one heard of any problems with this card and after install of the card, windows not booting up? basically loads and BSOD, i think by the discription my friend gave me. personally think it is sucking too much juice and the harddrive doesnt have enought power to spin or probally something wrong on the card. thoughts apperated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lilkev Posted September 20, 2004 Share Posted September 20, 2004 If you haven't tried yet I would pull all drivers for video in safe mode. I know that ati cards and other drivers have played havok with my system before. Just install a generic driver from windows and then put on tha ATI drivers. What's the watts on the psu? If the previous card didn't need its own molex power, HP might not have put a high watt psu in it.
