Dragon
Have any of you had a problem with a video only playing back the first couple frames of a video and then freezes? The audio keeps going but the video stops playing. Just got a DVD rip and whenever I play the video the video freezes after the first couple frames. Any ideas? Dragon
Turns out there's a newer version of Divx, 5.1.1, that I didn't know about. I didn't think that was the reason why it wasn't work. I loaded it up just for fun and that seemed to fix it. Dragon
Wargasm
Yea, but you still find vids that need the old divx3 codec for audio. Have any of you had a problem with a video only playing back the first couple frames of a video and then freezes? The audio keeps going but the video stops playing If its an AVI (sounds like it is) you can use divfix to redo the index. This allows you to view partial AVI files, but dont screw with the original of you wont be able to finish the d-load. AVI's tend to have the frame index at the end so without divfix, you need the whole file to watch it. Unlike mpg's, that are indexed in the timeline.
