Dragon
Yes, I decided it was time to retire the clear case. Don't ask why, just time to move on. I've been drawing up plans for a new clear case for when I upgrade in Febuary, but I had a bunch of ideas that a) only work in a steel case or would only look good in a steel case. That and the clear case is getting a little heavy for my tastes. So, here's the new donor a Coolermaster CAC-T05-US Centurion C5. It was a real pain to try and find something that had everything I needed. This one came close enough. A lot of the things I'm going to do to this case just things to clean it up. I'm not going to get stupid with it and make it look like the cases you see on bit tech or [h]ardocp. Just a couple mods to make it look nice and clean. The case lasted about 2 minutes before I started taking it apart. The first mod to the case, ditching that crappy power switch that came on the case. Dragon
No window, no problem. Only took me 4 blades on the scroll saw to finish it. One part computer case and one part aluminum panel (I'll just keep you guessing what its for). And that's all she wrote for today. ParoxysM
That's a big case, I can just imagine the weight once it's filled. Looks like you are having fun with it already
Dragon
Its just a mid tower, no bigger than my old beige case or the silver one I have. Dimensions are actually the same as my clear case. It does actually look big in those pics though. Dragon
Dragon
A little work from today. One floppy drive bottom and 2 3 1/2" front case panel covers equals... One future switch panel with something extra to come. Anymore days without snow and this thing will be done before the Jan lan. Dragon
Yeah, I was thinking of painting it all black and put a bra on it for when I take it out on the test track. Dragon

Dragon
A little work on the case. This looks so much better than that plain metal color, but I'm not done with it just yet. Dragon

Dragon
Did a little work on the switch panel the other day. Cut out the button tops and cleaned up the holes in the front panel. Got it all taped up to see how well it fits together. I still need to figure out how I'm going to mount the lights behind the panel face since its pretty tight back there. I was going to drill a hole into the middle of the arcylic buttons from the side but then the panel face gets in the way. I thought about mounting the leds on the switches but i feel the red from the switches would show through. I'll figure something out but here some pics.
