I should be able to make it with my server in tow again. A poll is a great idea with the top 3-5 games getting a spot on the schedule with the top 2 getting the most time alotted to them. Once the games are picked I can get all files(patches,no-cd,mods, and keygens) for each game shared out on my server with instructions on how to set-up to make things run alittle smoother too. And of course have all the D-servers set up to play too. hopefully get LilKev, carcass, and hefty to come also. ParoxysM will probably only come if were playing Tribes: Vengeance, which is out but I haved bought yet

Yeah you got me real good in BF1942 , but I think we were pretty even in SW battlefront.

Hey dragon, did you figure out on how to apply patch on d-server? It tells me game not found and to reinstall and I haven't found an updated d-server to install, yet.

Yeah it looks pretty as hell, but it makes you want to cry it runs so slow. I can't complain I'm getting 4635 but even w/ my athlon64 3400+ and 6800gt most of the stuff runs 20-30fps the one cpu test run at 2-3fps. even with one of the newer graphics cards and processors it crushes them, and just when I was feeling pretty good about my upgrades :flush:

Well it sounds like this LAN should be pretty interesting, I've changed my mind about playing BF1942 and want to play Star Wars Battlefront instead. It's a real sweet game plus I have the stuff for people who don't own a copy yet and plan on showing up a little early if it's alright B.Ob. - was also planning on bring my server and gigabit switch. I'll probably get my ass handed to me unless I practice this week, between Fable and just getting into the WoW beta I haven't been playing any FPS except for SW Battlefront. I haven't played UT2k4 since massive LAN and DOOM3 has been at least a month or 2 since I touched that, I'm gonna get owned. :bonk:

This also the first game that uses direct X 9.0c, I know I'm having alot of fun with it.

I got the d-server too, was running a lan game and it has a really good and simple interface. This game is a must for any fans of BF1942/vietnam or Star Wars. Just gotta find the ports it uses so I can set up my router for an internet game now.

not sure on the D. server, but it went gold 2-3 weeks ago so I think it will be fine as far as stablity( I hope, lol). I gonna pre order mine today or this weekend, ebgames has a deal where you get a free action figure of the kenner storm trooper, looks pretty cool.

I just got the xbox version and from the looks of it, it should be very sweet on the pc. Alot like BF1942/vietnam with star wars stuff and alot better graphics. It looks like a must buy for the LAN party.

Yeah it sucks when you want to buy something but can't find it anywhere. It was like that with my mx510 mouse, it took me like 2 months after reading a bunch of reviews to find one to buy and now there everywhere. I'll keep searching for that switch but it's gonna be tough to find it before LAN, hopefully newegg will get it back in stock soon. I love newegg I'd say I order at least 90% of my stuff thru them and they have been great about RMAs and about everything else.

BurnOut 3 is a great game, terminator 3 redemption is also a nice suprise, great graphics decent story, great 3rd person shooter gameplay. Fable comes out this week too, mmmmmmmh, Fable, drool!

Man I'm usually good at finding stuff for sale but can only find the non "P" model(ASUS GigaX1024) for asus switches which has no gigabit ports. But there is this trendware/trendnet 28 port smart switch at newegg which is cheaper than the netgear http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc....TC-pr1c3grabb3r but no fan that I can see but it matches up to the netgear and about $20 cheaper and in stock.

Just to let everyone know I have NWN Server running again AZMO incase anyone forgot, almost 24/7 I do take it down like 1 day a week. Dragon which MTA? GTA3 or GTA VC? I'll have to dig them out, I have both somewhere not sure where but somewhere. Doom 3 would be hooked, Doesn't look like Half Life 2 will be coming out before LAN party which sucks EBGames backed up the date till 11/01/04 and GameStop doesn't even have a date for it. I'm thinking will be lucky if it comes out before the end of the year at this rate, Can anyone say Duke Nukem Forever! :rotfl:
