OK, I've got a 12 Captain (Fend), and she's got a 12 Burglar (Fenreil). We just started them on Saturday, but we'll be flipping between Nimrodel and Vilya so that our other toons get some game-time, too. My only gripe so far is that there isn't enough reward armor or weapons in the beginning....at least, nothing decent.... Some of the quests that we're doing are blue, yet we still get wiped as soon as we start, since our AC is horrible, and our weapons do 5.5 DPS. Just finished a lvl 10 quest last night that gave me a 6.5 DPS two-handed sword, which is better than the 5.5 2h axe I had, but still, my armor rating is around 150...and I'm wearing medium! I haven't checked yet, but I'm not looking forward to asking the GF what her armor is at...

OK, I'm playing it now, too...but Shaggy, GF and I are all on some server that begins with "N"...LOL Can you tell I just installed the game last night? Since he's rarely on to play teams, I'll start up a Hunter on Vilya as well. I have no problem jumping servers from time to time when it's only me. The GF is at my place for the week, so she isn't actually playing it yet, but I'll get her all set up next week sometime. That being said, what are your names/classes, and when are you usually on, if you're still playing?

I'll admit that I may have a drink or two at the LANs, and that some others (OK, most others) will indulge in a bit more than that, but I still have a lot of fun at the LAN parties. Yea, it does make things a lot different when you're sober and playing against a bunch of people that aren't, but I can't tell anyone how to enjoy their night. I understand where you're coming from, WarSpartan, and I don't hold anything against you for it.

Well, due to the depressing lack of interest from members of the Frag Shack, we will forgo our monthly LAN for May. As it looks right now, this may actually turn into a permanent closing of the Frag Shack. In the past 60 days, we have had approximately 20 posts on our forums, and 0 responses to our emails and threads concerning the LAN. Sad as it may seem, we didn't even get a simple "Sorry, can't make it" response from anyone. Thank you to those who have made the Frag Shack fun in the past. Maybe some of us will see you at WNY's LANs in the future. I know that I don't plan on halting all of my PC gaming, but this lack of interest has left a sour taste in my mouth for my immediate future in LANning.... On a side note... We're still getting the UFC Pay-Per-View on Saturday night, if anyone is interested in watching it in HD with us. $5.00 donation requested, since it's $50 to order it. Feel free to bring something to share. We'll have some great chicken wing dip, pasta salads, sausage, and burgers.

W00t!! Everything is working great with that, B.Ob.!! Thanks again, man. I'll have it back in a couple of weeks. Thinking about actually picking up one of those, since they're so cheap....either that, or an x1300....

I've got a system that I need to get up and running ASAP, but I'm in need of a video card for a short period of time. I need something that's PCIe, and can handle shaders 2.0 and vertex 2.0 (Radeon X700/GeForce 6600 or better in either series). I'm short on cash right now, or else I would buy one from eBay or newegg... Is there anyone that can help me out for a couple of weeks? Maybe even be willing to sell me the card (if I can pay you in 2 weeks)?! I really ned to get this rig up. It's for a job I've got to get done in CAD, and I don't have a spare PCIe card.

Played AvP2 with a couple of people a few weeks ago and we had an absolute blast!! I've just got to figure out how to run a better server....I have no idea what any of the server commands are or anything....

Shaggy just started playing it, Dragon. I'll give him a shout for ya. I'm playing Vanguard with my girl at the moment, and I don't think I'll be changing any time soon.

Oh, I've got one. Started it when I was with the band, Dorian. Shaggy's Frag Shack also has a page, though it's pretty pathetic at the moment...It's a little difficult to get people to the page and learn about the Frag Shack if they're not on myspace to begin with...

Saturday, April 28th at 3pm. This is the month of two's! We will be playing: Call of Duty 2 Alien vs Predator 2 FlatOut 2 If you don't have the games, come as early as possible so you've got time to install. As usual, $5 at the door for pizza and wings. Bring a friend!

Would anyone be interested in playing paintball once or twice a month? Shaggy and I have played before, and have been talking to some others about starting up again. Lots of fun, though startup cost is around $125. After you buy a gun, mask, and tank, you've only got air and paint to get each time.

We've been running into some problems over at the Frag Shack lately, and we need your help to figure it out! We all know and love the WNY crew, so Shaggy and I have been trying to figure out the best way to make the gamers happy at our LAN's, without interfering with WNY's dates. There's a poll up in our forums right now for the best LAN day. It's a tough choice, between Fridays and Saturdays....So many choices, so little time... If you have any suggestions, we're open to them. We don't want to have our numbers dwindle any farther down the toilet, so please, come cast your vote and have some fun at the LAN.
