Join WNY Gamers Club @ MassiveLAN 2011 (MLP 0'11)

 

WNY Gamers Club will be joining the festivities known as MassiveLAN once again for the 2011 season. If you missed previous years, you missed out on great weekends. If you made it out you know what I am talking about. There are some great changes coming to the event again this year with this being the 8th year . So signup @ massivelan.com and stay tuned. Tournaments are are already posted and are as follows.

 

Starcraft 2

Our beta tournament was a big hit, and we will continue to do 1v1 bracket style SC2 tournament this year. Prizes should be available for 1st and 2nd place for this tournament. This tournament will first round single-elim, followed by double elim.

 

Killer Instinct

That's right. Old school SNES Killer Instinct. Winner of this tournament will be taking home a NES/SNES combo system for your old school gaming needs.

 

Counter-Strike: GungameAlways a good time, gungame will be making yet another appearance this year. Winner will be determined after 5 continual rounds of gungame. Prizes for at least 1st place, hopefully 2nd.

 

The FPS Triathlon

This year's team-based FPS is going to be a triathlon of some classic FPS. The triathlon is broken into 3 rounds, each with it's own rules and scoring. Not getting into too many details:

- Round 1: Battlefield 1942: Desert Combat

- Round 2: Unreal Tournament, Game of the year edition (1999)

- Round 3: Left 4 Dead (original)

 

July 8th - July 10th at Erie County Fairgrounds (Expo-Hall) in Hamburg, NY

 

Start Time 08 July 2011 9:00am

End Time 10 July 2011 5:00pm

 

** This will be taking the place of WNYG's July 2011 LPE Event.
