GPU-Z

New GPU utility shows up

"GPU-Z does not hide its similarity to CPU-Z when it comes to the user interface, but the job at hand is absolutely massive. There are numerous graphics chips on the market in most insane combinations, discrete or integrated, and so on.

Currently, the beta supports ATI and Nvidia chips only and has porblems with some hardware like integrated chips with odd numbers - we used HP's tx1000 Tablet-PC, and its integrated GeForce 6150 was not exactly detected as it was supposed to be.

But, this a nifty routine to detect the real number of pixel and vertex units, ROP (Raster Operation) and very important one - real memory controller (nicely detecting all those 6800 128-bit boards and so on)."

Just to give you an idea what I get with this program: GPU-Z Validation

apparently it doesn't work too well when you have slightly different cards. Both of mine are ati radeon x1950pro 512, but one is Sapphire and the other is a HIS Turbo which is faster but all the info besides the names are exactly the same...

Actually that makes some sense, as CF cards need to run at the same speed (highest speed of the slower card)
