ParoxysM
I just bought a 150G Raptor drive to replace my 74G Raptor. I benched the 74G, then copied the contents to 150G and benched that one. I also benched my 320G storage drive too. I used the most accurate method. Results: That big dip is a known issue. I've seen this exact screenshot on tons of benchmarks. B.Ob.
Interesting!!! A few benchmarks I have seen that have both the 74 and 150 raptor have put the 74 model the same or slightly ahead. Although I'm sure your 150 has the newest firmware, which no doubt helps. Have you noticed a difference in actual use?
ParoxysM
No real world difference, both are fast!! I was running out of disk space and it was on sale.
