"Unfortunately, because we required a small form factor, the solar panel only supplies about one tenth of the total power draw. " They gain 10% from the panel and the inverter lose is 20% to 25% (mainly in heat, same as a computer PSU). So there is no gain. Computers/consoles/lcd's all run off DC @ the heart of it all, so coming up with a straight DC power cable for the Wii and LCD would give a larger gain and cut out the inverter.
