ParoxysM
I wanted to benchmark my UT2K4 demo, but it didn't come with the necessary files in the \Benchmark folder, so I copied over the files from UT2K3 and modified for my needs. The linked file has all the components to perform the benchmark, so we can compare. I didnt modify the weak amount of commandline parameters much, since my benchmarks were not much different between 800x600 and 1600x1200 and the hardcore video details are only changable ingame The first bench I ran was @ 1600x1200 with max details: dm-rankin 27.891232 / 62.696663 / 165.418243 fps Score = 63.002945 as-convoy 16.055830 / 40.101791 / 78.206573 fps Score = 40.289211 ons-torlan 21.879454 / 51.726597 / 98.752083 fps Score = 51.952816 br-colossus 21.234816 / 57.821362 / 128.098633 fps Score = 58.077477 ctf-bridgeoffate 24.706230 / 67.430939 / 172.594269 fps Score = 67.448509 The second bench I ran was @ 1024x768 with tweaked details (nothing below normal)...basically what I play with: dm-rankin 39.153084 / 75.692276 / 143.444412 fps Score = 76.039291 as-convoy 8.628803 / 43.582951 / 145.352570 fps Score = 43.573498 ons-torlan 14.765853 / 69.222672 / 148.463303 fps Score = 69.515427 br-colossus 19.890335 / 67.626259 / 168.121826 fps Score = 67.591957 ctf-bridgeoffate 27.424107 / 83.825966 / 223.534790 fps Score = 84.241333 System Specs WinXp Sp1 Barton 2500 @ 3000 ATI 9700 Pro Ultimate @ 330 1G Kingston HyperX 2-2-2-
B.Ob.
Yikes, I'm glad I only ran this at 800x600 (what I run at, til the vid card gets replaced) dm-rankin 11.546409 / 49.015831 / 91.333153 fps Score = 49.077873 as-convoy 7.731584 / 30.201483 / 82.033783 fps Score = 30.236990 ons-torlan 9.798807 / 43.298428 / 80.072083 fps Score = 43.350780 br-colossus 16.879015 / 50.331337 / 102.312057 fps Score = 50.393486 ctf-bridgeoffate 11.773612 / 65.409668 / 170.054459 fps Score = 65.494942 System Specs Win2000 SP4 Barton 2500+ @ 2000MHz GeForce3 Ti200 1Gig Kingston ValueRAM
ParoxysM
I remember running Quake 2 @ 800x600...
ParoxysM
I think I will recreate this using newer maps. I know my scores will be better since have tweaked a number of things since then.

Hmmm, time to make one for the Retail version? A nice ball-buster of a multi-player recording perhaps?
Nemesis
We could do a multi-play recording @ the next lan party & make sure to center the camera around Major Chaos so that we can see his mad skills @ killing teammates in action It would probably be rather amusing watching ParoxysM sniping him as well -- Nem
Guest Major_Chaos
hahaha, we'll see who will be sniping who!!!!
AngelofDth
Dont make me come out of retirement and bring a scoped .50 calibur sniper rifle. Have you ever seen a watermellon at 500 yards go splat so beutifully.... There were no remains.
Guest Major_Chaos
OHHHH, so you're retired? that's why you don't go to the LAN parties?
Nemesis
I thought that he wasn't showing up anymore b/c he's too hung-over from all that drinking he does. Apparently he never got that memo telling him that there are "Drinks" @ the lan party as well. He is of course responsible for any messes resulting from drinking to much though -- Nem
AngelofDth
Word! I did bring a 18 pack last lan party lol
ParoxysM
I made a new benchmark, but it will not run with my "enhanced" exe file...so I will troubleshoot until resolved.

The demo did have 1600x1024, 1680x1050 and 1920x1200.... Yet the Retail version does have 1600x1200... *shrug*
