B.Ob.
ATI's New High End and Mid Range: Radeon X1950 XTX & X1900 XT 256MB "To make things even better, the CrossFire version, which has identical clocks, is also priced at $449; in other words, there’s no reason not to get the CrossFire version. ATI confirmed to us that you can run a pair of X1950 CrossFire cards in CrossFire mode, further reinforcing the fact that there’s no reason to even buy the regular card. You get the same performance, same features and better flexibility with the CrossFire card so why not?"
B.Ob.
R580: ATI Radeon X1950 XTX Review " X1950 XTX's new cooler deserves significant attention. Like our environmental analysis of its predecessors, we assess the X1950 XTX for mains power draw, GPU temperature and noise output at a system level. The measuring equipment we uses isn't good enough to get incredibly accurate, but it should be able to give you some idea of the differences between X1950 XTX and X1900 XTX." B.Ob.
ATI's Radeon X1950XTX: You Say You Want A RAM Revolution "While the technical launch is today, cards will not hit the shelves until September 14. Public relations manager Will Willis stated that "Card orders can be taken on September 23 but they won't ship until September 14." So if you want one you will have to wait but you can place your order today."

B.Ob.
Extreme Overclocking ATi X1950XTX "The main issues when overclocking this card was with the overclocking tools support. First of all, the Memory speed cannot be raised over 1140+MHz with any tools right now. Well it's still higher clocked than any 1900XTX Memory right? True, but the Memory latency on the GDDR4 of this card is tuned down quite a lot as compared to the GDDR3 Memory on the X1900XTX. So in fact the Memory isn't that fast unless you can get a software to overclock it far above 1140+MHz which it is definitely capable of. At 900+MHz Core, this card is definitely Memory Bandwidth limited."
