B.Ob.
Man, you wouldn't think just changing the CPU fan would make your system unbootable... The p/s in my system is dead. no lights, no spinning of fans, nothing. Got it replaced last night and new beast is back up and happily crunching again. B.Ob.
Hehe, that was probably the most unusual part. There was no release of magic smoke or other event that would have tipped me off beforehand. *shrug* Oh well, I ran to the store and picked up an Antec TrueBlue 2.0 480w which is running it nicely. B.Ob.
Hehe, no worries here! I will not try to OC my vid card higher than ATI Overdrive does auto-magically. My cpu let me know that it will not easily go past 2.9GHz. So now I just need to sit down and do some math to figure out the best way to get to 2.9 with my memory, which probably won't happen til after the lan at ShaggysFragShack tmrw.
