ParoxysM Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 I read a lot of reviews and they dont all benchmark games the same, so I wanted to start a thread about what games to benchmark, which benchmarks to run, what settings, etc. I downloaded the ones from http://www.hocbench.com for Quake4, FarCry, Serious Sam II and HL2. These dont seem to use a default cfg file Quake 4 Benchmark Resolution: 1600×1200 Demo: guru5.demo Quality: Ultra Aspect Ratio: [4:3] Antialiasing: 16× Anisotrophic filtering: 16× Symmetric MultiProcessing (SMP) disabled Score = 135.8 FPS Resolution: 1280×1024 Demo: guru5.demo Quality: Ultra Aspect Ratio: [4:3] Antialiasing: 16× Anisotrophic filtering: 16× Symmetric MultiProcessing (SMP) disabled Score = 136.1 FPS Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
