B.Ob.
Official site launch - Prey.com - pretty darn cool, check it out!!! Prey Weekly Update #1 "3DR was interested in maintaining a few key elements from the original Prey design, specifically the main character (although he underwent a name change) and some elements of the plot. They gave us the freedom to rework the weapons, creatures, and levels. So our initial tasks were working with 3DR on the story and brainstorming the various features of the game." ParoxysM
If they programmed the game correctly, they wouldnt have to hire 3rd party companies to police their game. Just my opinion.
AngelofDth
And how is this "properly coded game" philosophy going to protect against client hooking or directx hooks?

B.Ob.
With all the engine's that people buy, then get something for physics, etc. Why just not just buy it since then you can put your efforts into the content of the game! AngelofDth
Pb auto updates. It checks for your version of pb client every time you connect to a server. It does it in the background. And for somereason if it doesnt then you just have to run the pbweb utility and its done in a matter of seconds. Most pb games get multiple updates I think there was just another pb update for BF2 in the last 2 weeks actuly. its supposed to work the same way for the server pb files but half the time in my experiance you have to manualy update it wich can be done right through Rcon.
