Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 AMD announces desktop processor shortages "Advanced Micro Devices Ltd. has sent letters to some of its partners stating that supplies of certain CPUs, such as the Athlon 64 3500+ and 3800+, the dual-core Athlon 64 3800+ and the low-end Sempron 2600+ and 2800+ may be in short supply during the winter season.
